You can now rest comfortably, let go, and chose to give yourself this time to relax. This is your time, and you’ve worked hard for it. So relax… Follow my voice at all times… I will take you on a journey that will help you find clarity, vision and inspiration. You will come back rejuvenated and refreshed.
Remember that you are always in control. If you would like to return to your awakened state at any time, you may choose to simply open your eyes. You will realize where you are, and what you are doing.
I would like you now to take a long, deep breath. All outside noise will not bother you now, they will just tend to make you relaxation even more profound.
Breathing in through your nose, holding…. then breathing out through your mouth slowly. Breathing in, hold….. and out. You may choose, at this stage, to breathe out all of your anxiety and your doubts… and breathe in cool, clear and healing air.
Breathe in this air deeply. It enters your body, filling up your chest and flowing into your abdomen.
As the air reaches your abdomen, you can feel it calming your whole body. Like a gentle stream of calming energy, it flow throughout your body, cleansing and calming all of your muscles from your legs and arms to the top of your head. As you continue to breathe without thinking now, you allow this calm to unlock all tension in your body from your stomach to your chest, thighs, calves, through your arms, neck, jaw, face, your forehead, and past your fingers and toes.
This wave of relaxation is gentle and profound, giving every cell of your body nourishing, healing and relaxing energy.
As you continue to breathe, you visualise in front of you, a photograph of a forest. The picture shows the afternoon sun flickering through the rich densely grown trees. It reminds you of a time when you were in nature. As you breathe deeply, you feel the warm golden sun on your skin. In your mind’s eye, you are taken to this beautiful memory in nature, to when you were in a similar forest; as you look around, you feel the tingling sensation of the warm breeze on your skin. You are safe and warm. The afternoon sun baths you in its glow. The faint scent of lavender and wildflowers floats through the air from a nearby mountain. It is intoxicatingly sweet and calming. You feel so nurtured by the forest that you lay down and allow yourself to rest comfortably on the soft warm grass. As you lay down, you gently drift deeper and deeper into a rejuvenating sleep.
As I count down to 1, you will allow this drifting feeling to take you deeper and deeper. With each step, you will go 10 times deeper into blissful relaxation.. 7 – relaxed and calm, 6, drifting deeper and deeper 5, going deeper and deeper now, 4, feeling warm and relaxed, 3, every cell is relaxed and clear, 2, deeper and deeper relaxed now. 1, you are there. In a clear radiant and open space, where every cell of your body has been cleansed by the sun’s light and ready to receive the positive suggestions I give you. Without judgement, every cell of your body will be nourished and will receive whatever will serve your greater good.
